This item is a contemporary split pouch sling made out of Camelid fibres in Bolivia. I purchased it from an antiquity dealer in 1994. It was marked as from Bolivia circa 19^th Century. This sling is in very nice condition. The workmanship is fantastic and it is very large and strong. You can throw fist sized stones with this sling. It is the largest sling in my collection and one of my favorites.
