Item BR118
This carving was knapped out of a piece of Brandon Black
Flint. This is a beautiful piece of stone with no visible
flaws. This carving was purchased in England by Ben Ruhe in
the 1990s from a young archaeologist who was surveying all
of the Paleo sites in England, under contract with the
British Government. Very unusual piece that could have been
made to be a pedestal to display lithic artifacts. I don't
recommend it, but you could probably saw it into several
thin slabs and use the material to knap several of your own
points. 75 mm x 55 mm x 45 mm ; Weight = 462 gm
