Native American (Texas) Points Reworked by Ben Ruhe
Item BR129
This lot of lithic points has an unusual pedigree. These
points were collected by Virgil Tonn on his uncle's property
in Willliamson County many years ago. Most date from 200
B.C. to 600 A.D and are considered to be Ensor or Fairland
points. The last of the tribes to inhabit this region before
being driven out in the 19th Century were the Tonkawa. These
points are plentiful, and therefore some of these were used
by Ben Ruhe to improve his knapping skills. Some were not
modified at all. Length = 46 -> 78 mm ; Weight = 3 ->
18 gm
