This item is a hammerstone, made out of Quartzite material and found by Virgil Tonn on his property in Georgetown, Texas (near Austin). There is no tribal designation for this artifact. The native tribes in this region were continually replaced by other tribes over the millenia and are unknown except for their artifacts.
