This is a collection of 5 lithic artifacts collected on the property of Virgil Tonn by Ben Ruhe in the 1990s. Virgil Tonn was a well known flight knapper and Ben Ruhe worked for the Smithsonian Institution and he wrote articles about artifacts and cultures from around the world. Ben Ruhe used to visit Virgil often to learn about his flint knapping techniques and they would hunt for lithic artifacts when time allowed. The artifacts include a scrapper, or knife, a large spear point, a small and narrow spear point and two small arrow points. There is also a third arrow point that is not shown in the photo below and it is included. All lithic artifacts are very nice. The specifications are:

Scrapper / Knife : Length = 100 mm ; Width = 46 mm ; Thickness = 15 mm ; Weight = 80 gm

Large Spear Point : Length = 90 mm ; Width = 58 mm ; Thickness = 18 mm ; Weight = 90 gm

Small Spear Point : Length = 68 mm ; Width = 20 mm ; Thickness = 9 mm ; Weight = 13 gm

Arrow Point #1 : Length = 49 mm ; Width = 25 mm ; Thickness = 4 mm ; Weight = 8 gm

Arrow Point #2 : Length = 41 mm ; Width = 25 mm ; Thickness = 4 mm ; Weight = 7 gm
