The United States Boomerang Association is the organized body of competition throwers in the USA. You can join or subscribe to their quarterly publication, Many Happy Returns. However, you may or may not get 4 issues of the newsletter when you pay for your subscription. This newsletter has historically been produced at a frequency less than quarterly and you will only get the issues that are issued during the one year period of your membership. This site also includes a calendar of USBA events.

Dan & Richard Bower have posted the Hole in the Head Gang web site with information about MTA, Trick Catch, Throwing and a catalog of boomerangs.
 
Colorado Boomerangs - A very well done commercial boom page which advertises seperate lines of beginner and advanced boomerang products and accessories. Contact Richard Pollock-Nelson for more info. Kendall Davis has posted the rather nice Master Designs Boomerang Catalog web page specializing in beginner to intermediate boomerangs, including some competition-grade models.  There are 15 models to choose from + special orders, lap-joint boomerangs, and extra large boomerangs on request. MX Boomerangs - Michael Gray's Boomerang Home Page has lots of hot links and discussions on where and how to throw, tuning, catching, maintenance, competition and games. Also, info on boomerang clubs, physics, construction, types, etc. Probably one of the best and most comprehensive sites on the web.
 
The University of Texas at Austin has posted photos of artifacts that came from a Ceremonial Cave. The artifacts included a selection of very fine prehistoric Rabbit Sticks made by indigenous Native Americans from that region.
 
Jani Macari Pallis of Cislunar Aerospace, Inc. has posted several web pages that discuss Aerodynamics in Sports Equipment, Recreation and Machines . There are also explanations for advanced, intermediate and beginner levels of education and a teachers lesson plan.
 
NASA has a Learning Technologies K-12 Home Page with links to several pages about boomerangs such as the Four Wing Boomerang and Finger Boomerang pages. You can also download a great Macintosh or Windows application that shows airflow around an airfoil at various angles of attack!

Carlos Martini is the web master for Bahadara Sports, a rather comprehensiveBrazilian web site heavily invloved in the marketing of fine boomerang products and in the organization of international competition. The web site is in Portuguese, but this is easy to read if you know any Spanish or Italian. The list of boomerang products for sale is rather comprehensive with everything from multi-bladers to two bladed competition models.
