Larry Ruhf is a well known boomerang thrower from Massachusetts who has held numerous world records and has competed in almost every international competition, including the first international Aussie/USA Challenge Match. Larry makes his own boomerangs, but rarely for sale to others. When Larry emigrated to Costa Rica in 2007, he sent a small number of his boomerangs to be sold in this internet catalog. These boomerangs were made by Bruce Bernstein out of quality 5 mm 10 ply aircraft grade plywood. They are totally handcrafted (no powertools) with rasp, files, and sandpaper, sealed with spar urethane, steam tuned, and then finished with spar urethane. These are nice Sporting boomerangs that fly well and have a range of 30 - 45 metres. Each includes a custom made cloth case with draw string. The quality is quite comparable to that of the Herb Smith plywood models. |

Volker is one of the best manufacturers of sporting and competition boomerangs. These boomerangs are made out of quality Baltic Birch Aircraft Grade Plywood. They were beautifully painted by one of Volker's artistic friends. All of these collectable art boomerangs are Right Handed and work well with a range of 25 - 35 metres. |
