This is a wonderful oversized soft cover book was written in 1985 during the golden age of boomerang development. It is loaded with information about the history of boomerangs and has photos, drawings and boom plans (Janetzki brothers, Al Gerhards, Herb Smith, Rusty Harding, Lorin Hawes, etc.). The book originally came with a Dan Russell "SkyTurn" boomerang. If you purchase the book/boomerang combo, the boomerang might be seperated from the cover. There may be minor flaws on the cover, corners, etc., but the book/boomerang that you receive will be in overall very good condition. Written by Herb Smith, master designer of sporting and long distance booms, this book tells you everything about how to make and throw boomerangs. Also has a section on boomerang history. Achtung Bumerang by Michael Siems

Another Michael Siems publication from 1995. This is an oversized soft cover German language book with a vintage triFly mounted on the cover. This book also has a stiff cardboard center with scored lines for cutting out and making your own cross stick boomerang. Has really good instructions for working with triFlys. Also tells you how to tune, make a traditional boomerang, airfoiling, throwing, etc. Also has a photo gallery and plans for different models.
