The 1985 Tour du Boomerang was the first international competition to involve more than 2 countries. It followed the famous 1981 and 1984 Challenge Matches between the USA and Australia. The 1985 event started with a World's Masters Cup with 2 Australians, 4 Americans and 6 Europeans competing in Paris. This event was followed by a lightning tour of nine resorts by the 4 American throwers. The major organizer, Vitesse, raised $130,000 for this highly successful event. The four Americans were Eric Darnell, Chet Snouffer, Barnaby Ruhe and Peter Ruhf. Ben Ruhe was the team captain. You can read the details of this event in Many Happy Return #23. The poster includes advertisements from sponsors such as Levi's Canada Dry, Hollywood Chewing Gum, Mitsubishi This poster is in mint condition and is framed and ready to hang on the wall.

Because of the large size of this item, the buyer will be required to pay actual shipping charges. The shipping weight will probably be 8 - 9 pounds because it must be properly packaged to protect the glass. Pickup is highly recommended if at all possible.
