Jacques Beslot made a lot of high quality boomerangs in the 1980s. This included everything from basic plywood booms to strip laminated replicas of the Gerhards hooks. Many of these were copies of what other boom makers were producing, but Jacques also made some really nice boomerangs with his own design. Jacques labeled his boomerang products with gold lettering that said " Boomerang Fan ".

This unusual design has two abstract design blades that are separated by two metal rods that hold the blades rigid in the plane of rotation. Made in 1985. The blades are nicely painted. I did test throw this one just to make sure that it is capable of a return flight and was thrilled to discover that it has a nice 30 metre flight, even though it is a little heavy for its size. I do not recommend that this boomerang be tuned because of the mounting of the rods and it flies just fine. A rare and beautiful collectable.
