Doug DuFresne was one of America's best known boomerang manufacturers in the 1980s and 1990s. Doug manufactured a line of the highest quality boomerangs produced anywhere in the world. This include numerous models made out of plywood and strip lamination of Cherry and/or Ash. Everything was a great flyer and the manufacturing tolerances were as tight as you would see on an automotive product. Doug stopped producing boomerangs in the late 1990s and the price of his boomerangs increased dramatically. Doug was one of America's top throwers and a member of the American boomerang team during the formation of the American organization. Doug was active in formulating the competition rules for the USBA in the mid 1980s.

This medium size strip laminated omega was one of Doug DuFresne's more popular sport boomerang products. Made out of Ash strips and with the central strips dyed bright orange for high visibility. This particular boomerang was part of David Patrick's throwing kit for more than 10 years. It is an excellent flyer with a flight range of about 35 metres. It works best in light or medium winds. The boomerang is in very good condition except for some abrasion on both the lift arm and dingle arm tip and with a little patina on the lift arm tip. You could easily sand the abrasion down and it would look like new. Great sports boomerang and a really good collectable.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 33 cm ; Weight = 64 gm
