Rich Surace is an Aerospace Engineer who worked for NASA in the 1990s at Cape Canaveral in Florida. I used to visit Rich in the 1990s near his hem in Cocoa Beach. Rich always painted his boomerangs bright rainbow colors and his boomerangs always were good flyers. For a short period of time, Rich sold his boomerangs through The Boomerang Man.

This long distance hook is approximately the size and shape of Herb Smith's Big Red Hook. It is made out of plywood and there are 4 weights embedded into each blade. The weighted long distance hooks with the same configuration that I tested in the past had ranges of 75 - 85 metres. I did not test throw this exact boomerang, but I would expect it to have a similar flight range. Rich's Flite Stix decal and a Boomerang Man decal are affixed to the underside. This boomerang is in very good condition and it is signed. There is no damage and only light wear from use.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 38 cm ; Weight = 128 gm
