This unusual boomerang launcher includes two small yellow plastic boomerangs. The boomerangs are different sizes. The launcher was manufactured in Europe more than 20 years ago and it was originally collected by Max Hoeben, a well known thrower from Holland. Patent numbers for Europe, Japan, Australia and the USA are embossed on the handle. The triangular basket at the end of the launcher appears to function as a catching aide for the small plastic boomerangs upon their return. The holes in the triangular basket are boomerang shaped. The launching is accomplished with a rubber band loaded plastic sleeve that is pulled back towards the handle and then released. The sleeve then impacts the boomerang to initiate the launch. Rare and unusual and in excellent condition except for a small part of the ring at the end of the handle may have broken off. It is difficult to tell if there is a break or if the handle was manufactured that way. Extra shipping charges may apply for this item because of size.
