Jeff Lewry is a well known boomerang maker and thrower from Australia. Jeff was very active in competition in the 1970s and 1980s. He also won several competitions and he held many competition records. Jeff supplied the Boomerang Man with products in the 1970s and 1980s. His traditional models had unusual airfoiling with a trailing edge wrapping around the entire inside of the curve and the leading edge wrapping around the outer edge. Left and right handedness was set by adding an undercut to the underside, giving the boomerang a left or right handedness bias. Jeff's competition hook, made out of Coachwood plywood, was one of my favorite first boomerangs.

This is a matched set of left and right handed traditional boomerangs that Jeff in 1972. The set was made out of Marine plywood with a beautiful dark brown Mahogany veneer on the outer plies. The airfoiling is identical, except for the position of the undercut. This set was used by Brother Brian Thomas for exhibition throwing. Both were thrown at the same time, but the flights travelled in opposite directions. They are in used, but very good condition.
