Poly Fast Catch by Léo Ribeiro
Price: $21 ; Availability: 8 RH

This Poly Fast Catch was made out of a Polypropylene triFly and modified by narrowing the blades and by adding airfoiling for right handedness. Has lead tape on underside to extend range to 20 metres. Nicely painted and works great, but you have to have some tuning skills. You need to adjust height by adding dihedral and you can adjust range by angle of attack.
Radius = 14 cm ; Weight = 35 gm ; Range = 20 metres ; Age = 15+ ; Power = 7/10 ; Difficulty = 6/10

Factor 2008 by Georgi Dimantchev
Price: $19 ; Availability: 1 RH

"Factor 2008" was made out of a Darnell Nylon triFly with a 9% fibreglas fill. This model has a circular level flight and works best in winds of 2-3 m/s. There is a large hole and a small weight in each blade tip. Cool colors for good visibility. This is a good model to use in trash wind conditions in the Fast Catch or Endurance event. For advanced throwers only! It is recommended that you cover up the holes with tape and then selectively remove tape to tune this boomerang for your throwing style and wind conditions.
Radius = 15 cm ; Weight = 45 gm ; Range = 20-22 metres ; Age = 17+ ; Power = 8/10 ; Difficulty = 9/10 ; Test thrown on 22 May 2011

Backdraft Birch Fast Catch Triblader by Günter Möller
Price: $37 ; Availability: 4 RH

This Fast Catch boomerang was made out of 4.2 mm Baltic Birch plywood. A hole in each tip. All three blades are cambered near the tips. Requires some tuning. You will probably have to add dihedral to all blades and add a coin to the upper surface of one blade with tape. Takes a hard throw. Comes with instructions..
Radius = 15a cm ; Weight = 38 gm ; Range = 20-25 metres ; Age = 17+ ; Power = 8/10 ; Difficulty = 7/10

Paxolin Fast Catch III Tri-Blader by Volker Behrens
Price: $35 ; Availability: 2 RH

This Paxolin Fast Catch boomerang, is slower than the Birch F/C, but it is terrific for throwing in windy conditions. Looses spin at end of flight and dies. Cover holes with tape for added spin. Add a coin for more range. Takes a hard throw. This model is made for windier conditions than Fast Catch II. Comes with instructions. Thickness = 3 mm
Radius = 15 cm ; Weight = 47 gm ; Range = 25-30 metres ; Age = 17+ ; Power = 7/10 ; Difficulty = 6/10 ; Test thrown on 22 May 2011

Paxolin Enduro Fast Catch #1 by Volker Behrens
Price: $35 ; Availability: 2 RH

This is an excellent Fast Catch boomerang to use in light to medium strong winds. Not as fast as the Birch Plywood model, but you will be glad you have it in garbage wind conditions. Made out of 3 mm Paxolin. Comes with instructions.
Radius = 14+ cm ; Weight = 43 gm ; Range = 25-30 metres ; Age = 17+ ; Power = 7/10 ; Difficulty = 6/10 ; Test thrown on 22 May 2011

G12 Fast Catch II Tri-Blader by Volker Behrens
Price: $43 ; Availability: 3 RH

An exotic Fast Catch, made out of 2 mm G12 for windy conditions. A little smaller and lighter than the Pax F/C I model with about the same performance. Requires moderate wind for peak performance. Has a range of 20 metres in strong wind. Comes with instructions. Paint has poor bonding to G12 material and paint flaking is present on new boomerangs. Thickness = 2 mm
Radius = 15 cm ; Weight = 44 gm ; Range = 25-30 metres ; Age = 17+ ; Power = 7/10 ; Difficulty = 6/10 ; Test thrown on 22 May 2011
