The Peruvian "Huaracas de Lampa" Sling

These slings are the real thing at a terrific price. They are hand made out of natural Alpaca wool without the use of dyes in the town of Lampa in Peru's Southern Andean mountains. Every sling is completely different. They have a split pouch optimized to hold an object the size of a golf ball or walnut. There is a finger hole on one end and a small tuft of wool on the other end for an ultra-quiet release. Total length is about 160 cm. Total weight is approximately 55 grams. Locally they are called "Huaracas" or "Huaracas de Lampa".

Packaging claims that it is good for a dog's teeth (cleans and removes plaque). Comes with a lifetime warranty (not to this catalog, but to an address in Pennsylvania). These boomerang refrigerator magnets were made in Italy by Alessandro Benedetti. They come in the shape of a traditional boomerang and with really nice art work. There is a small magnet glued to the reverse of each tiny boomerang so you can hold messages and other paper items to a vertical metal surface like a refrigerator.
