Chris Baas Kowalski
I left the Zone in 1968 attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in NYC. After a short stint in Florida I moved to Luxembourg, where I worked for 7 months before returning to New York to work with Booz-Allen. I met my husband, Steve, when I joined Chesebrough-Ponds a few years earlier.

We were married in 1973 and Steve's job took us to Melbourne, Australia, where our son, Brian, was born. We were blessed next with Maribeth, a beautiful Downs Syndrome daughter and, in 1984, with Katie, who is now a Junior at James Madison University in Virginia.

Brian is a broker for AXA in Charlotte, NC.

I've been fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom, allowing me time and effort for Maribeth and for the many friends I have made in various homes.

We live in New Jersey and Steve runs the Snow's/Doxsee's plant in Cape May. We hope to retire next year and move South, possibly somewhere along the Carolina shores.

Chris has been a member of the Girls Drill Team for 3 years and also attended Girls State. She has been active in sports and was Treasurer of her Junior Class. She was voted Friendliest in the Hall of Fame. Chris belongs to the Future Nurses Club. She plans to be a Secretary.
