After graduation I attended
Kings College in Charlotte, NC and finished my 2nd year at
Canal Zone College. In 1970 I moved stateside back to
Charlotte, NC, where I still reside. We moved to Charleston,
SC for a 2 year period as a job transfer for my husband in
early '80's.
I married Cecil in 1974 and have
one son, Carl, who is 17. We are very involved in his
baseball activities & spend most of the year on some
ball field, somewhere! Last year we were in Tennessee,
Florida, South Carolina, and all over North
Carolina.
I have worked for American Express
in accounting, a stint in real estate (not my liking!), I
settled in as an office administrator, after moving up in
the ranks in the fashion industry, for a member trade show
association for 10 years. In 1999, they had a downsizing
which I got caught in & since then have worked as office
coordinator for American Dental Technologies, who has now
been sold.
Currently I am job seeking &
enjoying spending time at ball games. I still enjoy
crafting, sewing, swimming/beach, volunteer at the school
sports activities, love computers, and of course keeping
track CHS '68 classmates. (gee this bio sounds boring!)
