Carol lives in Glen Head,
NY, with her husband, Richard, and, occasionally, their
college-age son, Daniel. Older son Tim lives and works in
Baltimore. Carol has worked as an editor for Newsday since
1977, on the copy desk, national desk and foreign news desk.
She spent several years working parttime and returned to
Newsday fulltime a few years ago as the Deputy Foreign
Editor. She's also a Presbyterian elder and sings in the
church choir and has been on a million school district
committees. Her mom lives in Sarasota, Fla., so Carol's able
to keep up with several of the Zonians down
there.
Carol Conyne left CHS after her Junior year and graduated
from Robinson High School in Tampa,
Florida
