This is an old [1947] license plate (#6184) from the Panama Canal Zone. This plate is in poor condition. It was removed from an old automobile in a scrap yard. It has bends and rust throughout, but it was cleaned at some point and it may be worth restoring it with paint if you have to have a license plate from the Canal Zone dated 1947. If you find one in great condition, it would be very expensive. Old Canal Zone license plates are very rare and collectable.
