This license plate is the last year of manufactured license plates for the Panama Canal Zone. In 1979, a sticker was issued to place on the 1978 license plate.

This plate is in new condition. There are a couple of spots to the right of " 000" that appear to be residue of the green paint used to paint the raised edges. The reverse side has many very fine scratches from handling, but nothing that damages the metal surface. Overall, this plate is in very good condition and the flaws mentioned are common on most sample plates.
