This license plate is from the Panama Canal Zone. It is number 7565 for the year 1970. This plate was used on a vehicle and there are mounting marks on the lower holes. The plate has light wear and light oxidation on both surfaces as expected for a plate that was used in a tropical environment. The original paint is fully intact except for the edges of the mounting holes and the region outside of the black rectangle border. You can see this in the photo. It still is a very nice looking plate that would display well on your vehicle or mounted on the wall. I made no attempt to clean this plate. A rare plate from this former USA possession.
