This license plate is from the Panama Canal Zone. It is number 16976 for the year 1968. This plate looks to be in new condition. The only flaw is a small chip of paint missing at the extreme upper right. The metal that is exposed is shiny and shows no signs of rust It is a very nice looking plate that would display well on your vehicle or mounted on the wall. I made no attempt to clean this plate. A rare plate from this former USA possession.
