Glenn was my supervisor at Teledyne CAE for the first several years that I worked at that company. After a reorganization, I worked closely with Glenn to develop several high technology bearing products and a high performance counter-rotating propfan gearbox. Since Glenn retired (more than 10 years ago), we have stayed in touch, helping each other out by sharing our collective knowledge.

Ted Harris is a well known author who has held many high level management positions at SKF. Ted currently is an Associate Professor at Penn State University. I worked with Ted Harris on many Aerospace bearing development projects when I worked at both Teledyne CAE (1982-1989) and General Electric Aircraft Company (1989-1991). When I worked at NTN (1991-2002), I worked with Ted Harris on multiple technical papers, on two projects for the US Navy and as a member of the Life Ratings for Modern Rolling Element Bearing (LRMRB) committee associated with ASME.

I have known Mark for almost 20 years. Mark and I worked together to install the SHABERTH computer code at both Teledyne CAE and General Electric Aircraft Engines. When I was the technical leader of the GE90 bearing development program, Mark was a co-worker who helped me complete the bearing analysis portion of the program. Mark and I have worked on several technical paper reviews over the past 5 years to help me as an Associate editor for STLE's Tribology Transactions publication.

Mark is a senior manager at GKN. When I worked at General Electric Aircraft Engines (1989-1991), I worked closely with Mark to develop high technology bearings for the GE90 engine. Mark was a Project Engineer at GEAE and played a key role in making sure that all analytical groups worked together. We both worked at NTN for a couple of years in the early 1990s. At that time, Mark was an Engineering Manager and a Sales Engineer.
