Good Indian Chakram with Silver Inlay

This photo of a Good Indian Chakram with Silver Inlay was made more than 200 years ago. It sold on eBay (Item #2534647410) for $300 on 4 June 2003. The description was as follows: "This is a very good Indian Chakram - the throwing device used by the Sikh military from the 16th century onward. This nice old piece is in very good condition with a wonderful continuous design made of inlaid silver. The piece measures 7 11/16 inches - outer diameter with a ring thickness of 1 1/8 inches. This steel piece is sharp around the outside and shows some oxidation but no or very, very little pitting."
