The following are hunting boomerangs or throwsticks that were not made by Aborigines, but are good collectables or are good for throwing

Georgi Dimantchev's Composite Hunting Boomerangs

Price: $150 ; Availability: 2 RH

These composite throwsticks are good replicas of a real Aboriginal throwstick from Western Australia, complete with incised art. It is made using vacuum-technology out of a matrix of glass, aramid, carbon and epoxy resin. Throw with a layover of about 60-70 degrees. The flight range is 60-80 metres. Span = 56 cm ; Weight = 300+ gm
