Gerhard Bertling is a master boomerang craftsman from Germany. He produces excellent sports and competition boomerangs and quietly makes a few special boomerangs on the side. This is one of those special boomerangs. Constructed out of alternating strips of light and dark woods (Mahogany & Ash?) with a wedge of a dark tropical hardwood with figured grain at each tip. A drilled brass weight is set into each tip. The reverse side has four thin strips of a light weight wood inlaid at right angles to the primary strips. Signed and dated April 1998. This is a small boomerang that is both attractive and collectable and in excellent condition.

Specifications: Span = 25 cm ; Weight = 41 gm
