Twenty Seven boomerangs are in this auction. Most are from the USA, but 4 are from Peru, 2 are from England and one is from Australia. The most collectible boomerang is a large Herb Smith hook with an unusual weight design. Three of the 4 Peruvian boomerangs are choice lap joints and all 4 are wonderful flyers. There are 3 strip laminated MTAs that I made out of Cryderman blanks. These are stiff and difficult to field tune, but I had all of them flying great 30 years ago. Several more of the boomerangs are either art models made by myself and decorated by friends. There are alo some of the masters that I used as models for commercial sales in the 1980s. There is a good mic of other boomerangs made by others USA boom makers, most from the 1980s or 1990s. Check out the photos as soon as they are posted. |
