This item is a sling used to throw a projectile such as a stone. Hearders throughout the world used this device to protect their flocks. This sling was made out of West African Grasses by Grebo Tribesman from Liberia pre-1990. The pouch is a deep basket like container and the weave is very fine. It is in excellent condition. I have stored it in a climate controlled container for the past 30+ years. These are very rare. This is the only one I have seen and it is a very nice collectible.

Length = 172 cm ; Weight = 26 gm
