This heavy warrior's spear from North Africa has a long leaf shaped blade on the hean and a spatular blade on the butt. Both blades are attached to the haft with a tight wrapping of forged steel strip. The haft is a very old natural sapling with several surface splits from moisture loss over the years. A very fine patina throughout the entire surface. Originally purchased from the Fagan Arms catalog. Because of the overall length, it would be difficult to ship this spear overseas. Length = 156 cm ; Weight = 974 gm

This artifact is from the estate of Dain Torguson. The family will use the proceeds from the sale of this artifact to display a sculpture crafted by Dain in a public library in Rapid City, North Dakota.
