Melvin L. Wallace was a popular throwstick (hunting boomerang) manufacturer in the late 1980s. He also made lap joint boomerangs and everything that he made was out of North American hardwoods such as Cherry and Maple. The throwsticks were especially in high demand because they flew straight and true and they were strong. Melvin stopped making boomerangs and throwsticks in the early 1990s. His creations are rare and are good collectables.

This large and beautiful throw stick or hunting boomerang was made out of thick strips of Cherry, Maple and Oak hardwoods. This throwstick is number 7 and it is signed and dated August 1988. There is a high gloss finish and it is in excellent condition. You have to throw this one hard because it is large and heavy, but it flies straight and true. It is probably strong enough to use for target throwing and hunting.
