This left handed traditional boomerang was made in the shape of the famous Frank Donnellan traditional by Günter Veit for Rusty Harding in 1979. Signed and dated (see photo below). Günter also wrote " To Rusty Washington DC June 79 ", so Rusty probably got this boomerang as a gift when Rusty and Günter attended one of the early Smithsonian tournaments. This one is in excellent condition. It is a very good flyer with a flight range of 25 metres.

Specifications: Left Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 41 cm ; Weight = 74 gm

Günter Veit is a lawyer in Germany who was very active in the formation of the German Boomerang Club in the 1970s and early 1980s. Günter also made very nice Birch plywood boomerangs and he wrote a book that helped promote boomerang throwing in Germany. Günter has not been active in the boomerang community for the past 2 decades, making his boomerangs very collectible.
