This traditional boomerang with an extension on the elbow was made to look like a coat hanger. Wilhelm Bretfeld brought this boomerang to the 1988 International Team Cup and asked the competitors to sign it. Both the top and bottom surfaces are covered with the signatures of a large number of famous boomerang throwers. Wilhelm Bretfeld then signed the boomerang and mailed it to me as a gift. The manufacturer is not identified on the boomerang, but many of the competitors who signed it have identified this boomerang as a Boomerang Fan model made by Jacques Beslot. I think that Wilhelm removed the Boomerang Fan sticker to make room for more signatures. This boomerang is an important piece of boomerang history and it is in like-new condition. I did test throw this boomerang at the time it was listed and found that it is a very good flyer with a low circular flight and a flight range of 20 metres.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 43 cm ; Weight = 68 gm

Jacques Beslot made a lot of high quality boomerangs in the 1980s. This included everything from basic plywood booms to strip laminated replicas of the Gerhards hooks. Many of these were copies of what other boom makers were producing, but Jacques also made some really nice boomerangs with his own design. Jacques labeled his boomerang products with gold lettering that said " Boomerang Fan ".
