This small left handed V-Omega art boomerang was made by Rus Feuerbach in the 1980s. The elbow has a sharp point and a Bald Eagle head is painted on the elbow with the beak terminating at the end of the Eagle's beak. The reverse side has " Bald Eagle 00XX Range 15+ yards Left Hand " written on the dingle arm. There is a small chip on the end of the lift arm tip. This can be easily remedied if you sand the tip lightly and then add a dab of black paint. This boomerang is a very good flyer with a flight range of 12-15 metres.

Specifications: Left Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 23 cm ; Weight = 15 gm

Rus Feuerbach made large quantities of quality sport boomerangs in the 1970s -> 1990s out of his home in Agawam, Massachusetts. Rus sold his boomerangs at craft shows or through retail outlets. The first time I met Rus, he had driven his boomerang van to the USBA Nationals at Georgetown University in 1983 and sold lots of boomerangs to the competitors. Rus' boomerangs almost always had a raptor art theme. Many of his booms had eagles or falcons painted on the elbow. One tip was usually painted white and the other was painted red. Lefty booms had the colors reversed to help Rus tell the difference when he sold quantities of booms at craft shows. Rus is currently retired and he splits his time between South Carolina and the Florida Keys. He doesn't make booms anymore and the booms that occasionally come to market are considered collectables.
