This medium size traditional boomerang was made in 2000 out of 6.5 mm Aussie plywood. Nice airfoiling and finish, this one is a very good flyer with a flight range of 20 metres. Nicely finished and with a painted scene of Ayres Rock on the elbow. The lower surface is singed with " Made by Scott Burwell Australia 2000 " written on the elbow with a hot poker. Very nice collectible by this well known artist.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 47 cm ; Weight = 86 gm

Scott Burwell comes from one of the most famous boomerang families in Australia. Scott is the grandson of Ces Burwell, the son of Jack Burwell and the nephew of Bob Burwell. Most of the boomerangs that Scott makes are traditional models from the Burwell family line. The workmanship is excellent and the boomerangs are all great flyers. Scott's is also a serious artist and many of his boomerangs have scenes depicting Australia scenery or animals. Every serious collection needs at least one boomerang made by Scott Burwell.
