Eric Darnell is one of America's most innovative boomerang designers and a strong competitor and event organizer. Eric co-authored a boomerang book with Ben Ruhe in 1985 and he has been active in the development of advanced boomerang products for more than 4 decades. Eric is the current World Record holder in the Maximum Time Aloft (MTA) event. Eric occasionally makes beautiful natural elbow boomerangs out of hardwoods that are native to his home in rural Vermont.

This unusual Wizard is larger than the molded plastic Wizard and it was had carved out of translucent Polypropylene and painted with bright colors. The Turning Point logo is burned into the surface of the elbow on the reverse side. Both sides are covered with signatures of the competitors who attended the 1987 World Cup. There are two Jim Mayfield signatures and you can also find Eric Darnell, Mole Man, Ben Ruhe and many others. I gave this boomerang a test throw before listing and it has a flight range of 40-50 metres. It does take a hard throw, but works just fine. A rare and valuable collectable in Excellent condition.

Specifications: Right Handed ; Tip-to-tip Span = 38 cm ; Weight = 100 gm
