This is a very old [1941] license plate (#2178) from the Panama Canal Zone. This plate has signs of rust and scratches as expected for an old used plate, but the paint is original. These older plates with original paint are very rare. There are small holes just outside of the mounting slots. The holes are very small and clean. I think they are original plate holes because they are uniformly spaced. There is no bending. The plate is very flat. Overall, this is a very nice plate.
